Is-sinjal għal VAPUR T’GĦAWDEX magħmul minn żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal VAPUR. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluqa bis-saba’ l-kbir maħruġ ’il barra. Il-ponot tas-swaba’ tan-nofs jiltaqgħu u l-idejn jimxu flimkien ’il quddiem waqt li l-idejn jixxenglu ftit biex jispiċċaw f’pożizzjoni djagonali bis-swaba’ ż-żgħar iktar lura mill-oħrajn. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal GĦAWDEX b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ U bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-id timxi f’kurvatura ’l fuq u ’l isfel jew titgħawweġ mill-polz.
The sign for GOZO FERRY consists of two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for SHIP. Both hands take the shape of closed 5 with thumbs jutting out. The middle fingertips touch and the hands move forward together whilst the hands sway a little and end up diagonal with the pinkies more towards the back than the other fingers. (ii) Then the sign for GOZO is made with one hand in a U shape with the palm facing downwards. The hand moves up and down in curved lines or twists at the wrist.
